It is with great sadness that we write this letter!

For all of you who knew Malongane's loud, vibey, friendly, helpful and energetic restaurant manager ANDRÉ NIEMANN - it was with great sadness to have received the shocking news that after a long and hard battle against cancer the Dear Lord decided to come and fetch André on the 3rd of December.  André will always be remembered for his caring and deep approach in life.  André left foot prints in many hearts and always tried to make a positive difference.  He will most definately be sorely missed by many!  Our deepest condelences go out to his wife Simoné and two young children - André & Adinda.  God Bless.  From the entire Team in Parque de Malongane and Malonkwazi Adventures.

If you would like to send a message to the family you can do so to: andreniemann@parquedemalongane.com

Please note: Campsite 43 has been added back on to our system.  Campsite 44 size has changed slightly.  Please confirm with your reservationist the new sizes

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: TENTS ON GROUND WILL NO LONGER BE SUPPLIED WITH MATTRESSES

As of the 12th of October 2009 the tents on ground will be charged at a discounted rate due to the fact that they will no longer have mattresses in them and they do not have fly cover sheets over them which can cause discomfort during rainy seasons

Bookings for 2010 will open the 1st of September 2009

You require specific software on your computer capable of reading PDF files to open certain documents on our website.  In the unlikely event that you do not have such software, you can download Adobe Acrobat Reader from www.adobe.com free of charge.

We would like to bring the following to your attention as we have experienced some minor problems in the past and would like to help you understand the procedures as to avoid you any discomfort of any sort. Malonkwazi Adventures Mozambique works as the main booking agent for Parque de Malongane and is an entity on its own, meaning that should you experience any problems with Malonkwazi Adventures Mozambique regarding anything related to your reservation, you should address it to the supervisor. Should you not get any assistance with your reservationist or supervisor you would need to take it up immediately with the office manager. Should you be in Parque de Malongane and you experience any problems what so ever then you would need to report your incident to reception who will then ensure that the correct head of department is sent to you. Should you feel that you have not been assisted to your satisfaction, then you may request on seeing the resort manager. The department manager will gladly direct you to him.  Should you feel you are not getting any cooperation from either companies please feel free to direct your mails to: complaints@malonkwazi.co.za

There has been some talk recently regarding INTERNATIONAL LICENSES and 4 WHEELER LICENSES over the border to Mozambique and would like to remind you of some points to keep in mind when crossing to Mozambique.  Although there are no tar roads in the Malongane area, there are National and sub-National roads you travel on, although sandy and full of holes the law needs to be enforced at all times when traveling on National and/or sub-National roads – same as in South Africa. We have not experienced any problems at this stage in the South but would suggest that you get an International license at any AA travel agency near you to avoid any unpleasantness.  As for 4 wheelers, you will require a license to be able to drive on any National or sub-national road – any illegal driving is punishable by law.  Something else to keep in mind is the road through Pongola-Jozini-Border area:  they are busy with road works between Jozini and Manguzi (border town) and have tarred some of the potholes but there is still wet tar and stones on the tar which fly off causing slight damage to vehicles.  We suggest that impatient drivers rather take the Hluhluwe turn off going pass the Sodwana turn-off which is approximately 80 kilos longer but a better road to travel.  Should you have any further questions or need clarity on anything you may be unsure of please contact any of our friendly ladies in our office on  27(0) 13 741 1975 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              27(0) 13 741 1975      end_of_the_skype_highlighting begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              27(0) 13 741 1975      end_of_the_skype_highlighting.

The dive camp will no longer supply crockery and cutlery as of the 1st of August 2008.  The self catering kitchen will however still supply pots, pans, Gas stoves and basic cooking utensils for guests staying in the Log huts or Tents.
